Through my AWHONN fetal monitoring classes you will get an easy to remember, systematic approach and understanding of fetal heart monitoring with AWHONN defined physiology, interpretation and intervention. I have an easygoing teaching style although I want to make sure that every person leaving my class understands how to read interrupt and respond to our babies language. You will circulate through skill stations, take your test and have your certification in hand prior to leaving. For my AAP Neonatal Resuscitation NRP classes you will circulate through skill stations, learn a step by step algorithm to resuscitation, preparation and assessment for newborn care. You will walk away with the critical thinking skill set needed for the safety of you and your newborn patient. It is a passion of mine to make sure that every provider of a newborn baby knows and feels comfortable starting resuscitation. As a labor nurse I know many times we are the first to asses and begin resuscitation. Which is why I share my passion in education in NRP. 

 Hi my name is Sam, I am a Labor and Delivery nurse working in Sunny South Florida. I have been working in Labor for over eleven years. I love each one more then the next. I currently work as a Assistant Nurse Manager for Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby.  If you know obstetrics, you know there is always something more to learn and apply. I’m Nationally certified in C-EFM and AWHONN Advance, Intermediate fetal Monitoring , and NRP Istructor. When I'm not working hard with mama's and babies I'm home with three of my own. I love all that comes with Labor and Delivery and believe our chosen path is a prescious one.
