You will need to go to the AAP American Academy of Pediatrics website at
https://www.aap.org/en/learning/neonatal-resuscitation-program to sign up for your class and purchase the NRP 8th Edition Advanced (1-11) Provider Curriculum it cost $45.00. Once you sign up for the course you will see part 1 and part 2. Part 1 is the online portion (in which you will watch and complete interactive modules from the Advanced Provider Curriculum 8th edition), part 2 is the in person instructor skill check off. You will need to click on part 2 and register for one of my classes, you can do this before you complete part 1. Search for my classes by my name Samantha Rooney to see the list of classes I offer and pick your date.

This NRP class is offered for renewal and first certification. Through the pre-course work and the in person hand on training you will cover the steps needed to provide neonatal resuscitation to baby's in distress. You will go through AAP algorithm and know the step by step process of neonatal resuscitation. In addition you will be able to assess the high risk situations that will alert you to provide and plan for in house or on the field care to a baby birth in a high risk situation. At the end of the class you will be certified in Essentials and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
